Handrail mount (base) on F32

Post by Mac32 »

Could someone confirm the base angle for the hand rail mounts on the bow for a F32. They are the three hole mount and I would like to order them today but I dont have access to my boat right now and cannot confirm if they are 45 degree or other?

MAC,

I replace three of them on my 32 last year they are 60 degree angle 7/8"
the rear one's I didn't have to do but they are a differnt angle. Mine were bent or broke and some of them are a real job to get too. I pulled all of them off and put new fasteners in and rebedded. The 60 degree 7/8" ones on the site are part number280600. The one's I didn't replace are aft one's the should be 30 degree part number 280300

Spend the extra money and buy stainless steel bases. The chrome zamak fittings are not as strong and can break. You don't want the handrail to fail and send you swimming.

NO Zamak - it will corrode in a year or 2 - and is weak - you need strength in a hand-rail!
