Trojan Rendezous set for the weekend of 12,22,and 23 August

Post by FagarweII »

Hi! My name is Kent Terry and I have set up the Trojan Rendezvous at St. Michaels @ Higgins Yacht Yard & Cottages this year. If you would like to come, contact the Marina & Cottages at:
Ms. Cathy Stinchcome
Phone 1-410-745-2992
Cell 443-786-0513
E-mail Twoswaninn@Verizon.Com

Then please contact me at "Fagarwe II@Aol.Com" and let me know you are planing to come. That is so I can get a head count and set up food for the cook out Saturday evening. Also for the activities for the weekend. We plan on having John Leeds from Marine Tec. (was one of the Engineers at Trojan and has a welth of knowledge.)

Dependent on fuel prices, etc. we may be able to come up for the weekend. Or drive over...

Paul, if you going, come up the Potomac and pick us up! :D

I could pick you mid bay . could get a ride to the greeen bouy off the Potomac? :D

As you wait the slips could fill up but if that was to happen there are other marinas near by and I will have my RIB that could be used for water taxi
if we ran into that .

rendezvous

Post by lbswaff »

I'm thinking of going to the rendezvous in august but my boat will still not be ready. I will dive up to MD. How are these get togethers? I want to meet other Trojan owners and learn all I can about my boat. Are these rendezvous good for that? I think it would be great to go and meet people and share experiences with each other. Please give me some input on what you guys think? Thanks and I love this forum, it has been such a help so far.

Hi Bill,
I've never been to one either but I've learned so much from the wonderful people on this forum and I really want to meet as many as possible in person. I'm sure our boat won't be in show room condition for the rendezvous but I still want to show her off.

It's a kick in the pants to be able to spend a weekend moored with a bunch of like minded boaters. Having no time limit on going aboard all the other boats and gabbing all day and night about boats. Guaranteed a memory maker.
