why has this forum become a place to post links to boats for sale?
wasn't this posted earlier too?
let's go back to helping existing owners and their questions.....

It's not my boat.

I have no interest in it and do not know the owner.

My apologies in the event I offended anyone.

apparently I did.

I thought this forum was here to share ideas and opinions as well as to be a source of information and even some promotion for our orphaned brand of vessel.

I believe this vessel to be an extraordinarily well kept example of a Trojan boat more than 30 years old.

The pictures are magazine quality, it could have been a showroom brochure.

That posting link I had listed received a number of interesting comments where it was posted on the BoaterEd forum. The link is nearly a year old and I may have posted it here once before.

Apparently and to my surprise, it's not welcome by all here on the Trojan forum.

Therefore I will remove the link.

If anyone is interested in seeing some really nice photos of a well maintained 1978 F32 Flybridge Sedan with a nice custom table, along with other comments, send me a PM and I'll send you back the link.

Regards,

RWS

RWS, don't worry. I'm not offended and I'm pretty sure that most of the folks here are not...

I also posted the link earlier, http://www.trojanboats.net/wforum/viewt ... a2f2b39981

My posting and I believe RWS's post, shows what a nice boat looks like and we wanted to share with all of us here. Not one mention in the posts, was to solicit a "sale". It also inspires us and perhaps may give some of us, ideas of what we'd like to do to our own boats.

It's a far cry from the "Craigslist" postings from time to time.

Then again, maybe someone would be interested in this vessel? who knows...? Regardless, it's a nice show piece of a vessel and I like it.

RWS, thanks for your posting, I see that we appreciate a nice boat when we see one!

Technically it was posted on boatered, not here. I agree with not posting boats for sale directly on this forum with the intent of selling your own boat (that could get out of hand) , but linking to other boats for sale by users here is to me just another source of more information. (who doesn't browse the classifieds for ideas on their own models?)

For example, I was thinking of doing a similar dinette table but was wondering what it would look like.....now I know.

I have to admit I am a little bummed at what the f32s are selling for, this means I will never get out of mine what I am putting into it.

But no offense here RWS. I like to see something so clean...

i was not offended....
You missed my point... you posted the same boat that Stripermann did on Friday, less than 24hrs earlier..... so my point was on duplication within a couple of days. Did you not see his post?

RWS...chill...those darn canuk trojanites are too politically correct...probably 'cause they get to boat in one of the most beautiful places on the planet [in the summer anyway...a Tuesday in July last year I believe]

Just wanted to say, this Canuck would look at boats all day long, so keep them coming. I think my affliction must be from "cabin fever" It's a looong winter. And, by the way, you southern boaters make me sick! LOL

I love looking at Trojan boats for sale or any other way and as far as I'm concerned RWS and stripermann2 you both did just what we're supposed to do, share Trojan boat information. :D Thank you all and keep on sharing, all of it.

It does not bother me, quite the opposite, I love looking at all the other boats out there. Gives me inspiration to do more on mine. Keep them coming!
