Cape Charles

Post by reelfishin »

Several boats are going to Cape Charles this weekend. They will be leaving on Friday and coming back on Sunday. My son and his wife have done this before and will be in the group. Anyone that is in the area might like to join up with them. According to my son , the marina is beautiful and is a great place to visit. Everytime they go they have a great time.

Prowlerfish, My son said he took our little porte a bote out to he inlet. I don't know if he was fishing or just running around in it. He and his wife like to run around in it. They love to take it to a beach and run it up on the sand and visit others that come there at the same time.
I am not sure which marina they are going to but I will ask him tomarrow and post it. I do know he said it was a real nice one.
I just don't know which one they are going to this time. I bet he and the group of boaters would love to have you show up. Everyone is welcome to join them there.

If I get the boat done We plane on going to NC for a few days then head back to the bay a bit for a few more . I have had to do a lot of work on it in the past few weeks .

BTW it sounds like the city may do the right thing with the inlet .

Bay Creek it is. That is what my son said. He could not remember for sure which one it was but said it started with Bay. So I think Bay Creek.
I hope your boat work is all done and I hope you can have a enjoyable and safe trip to and from North Carolina.
I am sure my son will enjoy Cape Charles with the other boaters. I am not sure how many are going but I would guess around 3 or four boats. I will post how many when I find out.

Speaking of Cape Charles, for you guys down that way...I've read some reports from TF on Bull Sharks in the shallows and in the nets. You guys see a lot of them? Wouldn't want to be swimming anywhere near them.

We generally do not swim off the boat. There are pools at the marina that my son and his wife use. Anyway thanks for the information. We generally fish Cobia and drum when here and they do have sharks around at times.
