i have a 1979 f28

#1 my boat has chain drive steering been sitting for while 2 lower chains
russted solid. lith greese, wd40,oil. no workey does anyone know where i may pick 2 up? or are they the same as a m/c i know dumb question.

#2 my last f28 did list to the right some..... but this one is a little more
checked every where inc.water tanks is there a reason that im just not seeing.

My F28 lists to starboard too.... I can only imagine it has something to do with the extra 30lbs of propane stored on the bridge as well as a heavy duty radar stand.... all added to the starboard side....

We figured the previous owner compensated by using one domestic water tank at a time, draining the starboard tank before the port, because they've put an extra shut-off to the port tank.

you may be able to match the chain up at a cycle shop or a place like northern or a good hardware store

I believe the chain you are looking for is a #41 chain. The first # (4) is the spacing of the teeth on the sprocket. The second # (1) is the width of the chain in eighth's. (1/8")
