Any Interest???

Post by Woodman »

I purchased a 1973 25 ft. Trojan, Sea Raider several months ago, with the hope of restoring. After many hours of removal of rotten wood, discovering many, many problems, I have decided (very painfully so) it's too much of a project.
So, I have a lot of parts in very good condition (Bow railing, stern railing, Lots of hardware, engine parts (mercruiser, 302 Ford, not running). Also, interior stuff, newly recovered V-berth cushions, dinette seats, Cockpit helmsman & first mate seat. etc, etc.
Thought I'd throw this out to see if anyone is interested?? The boat spent all it's life in fresh water (North Georgia). I live Florida, just South of Tallahassee.
If their is enough interest, I'll take lots of pics and post these items on the "For Sale" section.

Thanks

Sea Raider stuff

Post by Woodman »

Rob,
I'm interested in getting any items on my boat to someone who can use them. Not sure the cushions or table will fit your 31', but I'll take pics and measurements. Also, the gauges are all there, but only for a single engine. I figure yours has twins.
I'll be out of town for a few days, but will get the details to you next week. Thanks for the interest.

Hello Jerry
THank you for the prompt response, I will take measurements and pass them on to you to see if they willl fit and as for the gauges, i do have twin engines yes but each engine has its own complete set so i believe they will work. Aswell is there a drinking water tank and pump on your parts boat? It slipped my mind earlier but in Toronto Ontario Canada there is a 24` Trojan Sport Fisherman for sale $1500 Can. if you are still looking for a boat i`ll attach the website its at a place called Pisces marine, they do have a website incase the link dosen`t work.

Window guides

Post by Woodman »

Bruce,
Mine doesn't have widows that open, except the ones on the sides of the cabin. And, they just slide open/close in channels. Sorry.

Parts

Post by Gman1397 »

Hi all. I'm trying to replace a number of worn and broken parts on my 1976 F32. I am in neew of a macerator motor (Monogram Industries?), a windlass, and any gauges you may have. If you have 318's on a salvaged boat, I need a 4 bbl Carter carb too. Starting to sound like a total rebuild but I wouldn't want any other boat.
Thanks

Helmsman seat

Post by Coach Z »

I'm wondering if the helmsman seat would be anywhere near that from a "63" sea breeze? the 3100 we are looking at is missing the helmsman seat!
looking to restore a 1963 trojan sea breaze 3100. Would love to find pictures of what she originally should have looked like. Any specs on her would be great too.

Resurrected

Post by Woodman »

I couldn't agree more! However, I guest that any boat could be resurrected and this one surely could be. And, there was a time when I could do it. But, because of it's condition and my health issues, not this time!

So, I plan to put the boat (as is) on "Craig's List" (Florida, Tallahassee) and run it for approx. 2 weeks and if no takers, it will go to the "great boatyard in the sky". It has to go!!
Thanks.

New Trojan owner - sorry to hear of your loss. My F31 came without helmsman or mate seats - did you sell yours?

Thanks,
Mike
