Changing manifolds and risers

Is there any definitive way to know if you need to change your manifolds, or is it just a matter of time?

Its a matter of time , that can very a lot due to how salty the water is is flushed out when out of the water . manafold thst are fresh water cooled last much longer, but all risers are raw water cooled .
