Hi all.
My F25 has a single 318 Chrysler engine in it, and I am trying to find the location of the temp. sending unit and the oil sending unit on the engine.
The temp gauge doesn't seem to be working at all and the oil gauge goes all the way over passed 80 when the key is turned to on.
I would like to see if the wiring is connected to these gauges and if so, replace the sending units.
When I got the boat, I was told the engine had just been completely rebuilt, but it seems all the gauges may have not been re-connected. I also noticed the wire to the sending unit on the gas tank is also not connected. so I got to find out which wire goes to it also.
The engine run very well, so I don't doubt that the overhaul was done.
Thanks for any help.

On the 318, the oil sending unit is located on top, towards the back of the engine. It is just in back of the intake manifold on the left side when viewing from the back of the engine.
The temperature sending unit is towards the front of the engine, next to the thermostat on the right side. (Viewed from the back of the engine.)

How about this? Looks like number 12.larglo wrote:I found the temp sender, but couldn't find the oil pressure sending unit. Is it close to the distributor? It may be under the black box that sets in back on top of the engine too? Could it be some where else on the 318?
Thanks for your help.
