sorry for this stupid question, but is there a way to get from the Hudson to Lake geroge,,, by water,,???

to view nav charts on line, without buying them, check out "clicktoboat.com"....maybe able to answer your quesion that way...

Bill, I just checked my charts and I don't see any way of getting there from the Hudson unless you put wheels on it.

No, but why bother with Lake George when you can get to Lake Champlain via the canal? Better lake, better marinas, and you can travel to NY and VT. It's a great ride up there, especially right now with all the fall colors out.
