1975 F36 Tri-Cabin Shower Faucet

Post by aweimer »

So while working on the boat this weekend i was playing with the shower faucet and its frozen solid and will not turn. Through the wall there in the shower i see only the neck of the moen faucet. It appears there should be an access in the kitchen? My kitchen has been remodeled and right next to the entry steps from the bridge is a Sanyo efficentcy fridge (4' high). I'm guessing that down by the floor is the access to the shower faucet for repair? There is also some pergo flooring in the kitchen and i need to lift the fridge over the edge of the flooring to move it out, which is why i'm asking first, ITS HEAVY!.

Just asking for those with a tri-cabin should there be an access in this area for the shower faucet? Also i assume its just a standard faucet being a moen in all. I need to get this working before i try to winterize the FW system.

Yes. The faucet (if I remember correctly) is right above the countertop level right where your fridge is now.

It is a standard faucet, and should easily be replacable with any hardware unit.

Cake repair..

Pull the faucet apart and cleaned the inner workings.... Done and works fine. It was just hard to see the pin holding the guts in there until i got some proper lighting.... ugg. Need to install a push light on the ceiling of the shower. :D

This finished the water system, all is winterized with pink ready to roll...

You can access the faucet in your counter top. The faucet is standard so you can easily replace it with other new faucets. Most of faucets are standard like the shower faucet.
