yeah! time to go kill some walleyes, northerns and perch through the ice! we are supposed to get 3" of the white stuff tonight. no ice yet though. would i look bad with my auger and tip-ups standing next to open water? :D

Thank God I'm not yankee. You guys can keep that ice fishing my wifes uncle just told me how we use to ice fish. No sir not me.

it's not that bad! sure beats sitting in the house doing nothing all winter. around march i start openwater fishing on michigan for brown trout and thats colder then ice fishing.

Alexander ... it hasn't been that long ago when we could ice fish not far from your neck of the woods....prior to all this global warming... :lol:

That's why I burn all the gas I can. And back in those days I was in Texas I've been here for 20 yrs and never seen it that cold that I recall. So thank God for gobal warming
