I use two in my F36. Should be enough if you have bypass valves for your hot water heater. BTW, don't forget to drain the HW heater...

thanks guys. I don't have a bypass on the h/w heater....
so I was going to drain and then run through by running the h/w taps. Is running the anti-freeze through the heater a bad idea?
If so, I'll rig something up this year (my 1st w/ the boat).

DON'T FOREGET to switch the breaker off to the water heater before draining, if you don't you will ruin the element.

I use about a quart. I drain the hot water tank and fresh water tank then hook up an air compressor to my dock side hook up and blow out all the lines hot and cold. I then disconnect the fresh water pump and show pump and pump two cups through each. This is the same procedure I use for my trailer at the lake.

Winterize fresh water
I disconnect the hose from the tank, put the hose in a jug of red pop, run it through the lines by passing the h/w tank. It takes about a gallon on my F-32. I never add the fluid to the fresh water tank.
