Lubricant For Throttle & Gear Shift Cables
Any suggestions for a good lubricant to use to lubricate the throttle and gear shift cables?

Great tip - thanks! You say you do it every spring. Apparently it keeps the cables in good condition.
I just purchased my Trojan about a year ago and they seem to be working OK, but I noticed a little dragging at the end of boating season so wanted to get it done in the spring.

A whole lot more work than this method...rossjo wrote:Teleflex simply recommends removing cables and lubricating it with waterproof grease.
