Anyone know where to get a Pro Mariner 5550
Mine is a 3 bank 50 amp Batt Charger 85-140VAC 60 cycles 4.5amps
charger. Mine is not charging anymore and I need to find another.

sure is! if you cant find a used one. but do you need to rapidly charge your batteries? really need 40 or 50 amps? might use something less if just trying to charge at the dock when youve been out all day. alternators can put back alot if they have a high output.

I have have been using a prosport 20 made by promariner I have very large batteries (4D) I replaceed my large charger about 4 years ago with the pro sport I have been very happy with it

Not a pawn shop. It's a place where boaters take their used or excess gear to sell it. There's one in Oriental in an old house that is floor to ceiling with used boat gear. There is also a surplus shop over at Jarrett Bay Boatworks that has all kinds of neat stuff for pennies on the dollar. I do not shop at West Marine since I found these places. I also found a Marine Supply Store in Beaufort, NC that supports the Charter boats where you can get zincs and bottom paint for 2/3 of what W.M. charges. Look around, you do not have to pay retail for this stuff.
