I will be inspecting Sat so I will take a look for wood bulheads. I assume if they are glass then stringers are glass.

I'm going from Detroit (Harrison Twnship) to the west side of Michigan straight down 94, maybe.

Good luck, take pics if you have suspicions or questions. RWS and others can help identify or answer specific questions for you.

There is only one wooden bulkhead, it's between the engine room and the lazarette.

I'm headed to South Haven area.
I thought about that cost the same with gas?
What would be a good estimate for gph? 454 cruisaders. Not sure how fast 18- 22 Knots? It's about 700 miles around the top. Or is there a river run?

Don't ignore the cost of removing/replacing the bridge & equipment.
Plus that trip round allows you to stop at Mackinac Island for a day or two.

They quoted me $2300 to take it off I would have to have it put back on.

That's why I'm trying to find out if anyone has done it and what's really involved. I'm very handy and quite certaim I could disconnect everything and reattach just need a florlift at the yard to put on. Still debating..

Not sure if anyone here has a 10 meter flybridge.
I have removed my bridge surround from an F32 but that is unlikely to be relevant. I have previously transported mine by only removing the ladder, wind deflector and shifters and used a lowboy with my height at about 14' 6" above grade. Was able to transport it without any worry.

Route selection can often allow for moving high boats while adding to the cost due to more time of a longer route and the cost of checking bridge headroom along the way (do ahead of time yourself).
When you go to look at it do some measuring, take 20' tape...
You want highest point of bridge surround (check nothing fixed on console is higher) to ground, ground to keel then you have the height of the boat. Now with a lowboy you can get away with only adding about 9".
