(Jamie ) Right now it looks like the Rendezvous Will be going North some what then down the bay in 2011 ( Solomon's or lower ) and maybe at the end of July . I don't think I will make it this year ( by boat) But if you put something together I plan on going and will do the Rendezvous by boat in 2011.

I think I can make it to the DC area rendezvous! All I gotta do is crank up the mighty BH to warp speed, hit a wake in front of the Conklinville Dam, jump the spillway into the Black River, timing that just poifect so that it's in full flow, which will carry me over the next dam north of Glens Falls into the Hudson, then it's a piece a cake down the Hudson, hooking a right outside NY Harbor, to ICW, and then I'll just ask directions.....so I'll be there!

Yeah, that's the ticket......or maybe I'll drive.....just in case when and where is it???

The Trojan Rendezvous was great . meeting some folks from this site and other Trojan boaters . I ran about 140 miles to to the last one but one boat (Wes) ran 400 plus from Ct. but most were From 50 or less miles away . and lot of folks came by car . I think we will get a different group for Strippermanns get together as most folks limit the area they will take there boat . I found for many 30-50 miles seems to be the limit of their "Comfort Zone" . And I respect that as I was the same way just a few years ago . When I broke out of my Comfort Zone it opened up a whole new world of boating to Us .

Okay,

Here are some marinas which would work for all. Look them over, let's get a date going and I will see about arrangements! I have been to each of them, any questions let me know.

Very nice, with a pool and outdoor bar, attentive staff.

Nice, haven't been in a while but remember it as boater friendly with attentive staff.

Best damn Bloody Marys! Not much in modernization but friendly folks and a neat ship's store with OLD stuff! Rick is a laid-back and funny guy. (owner) They drag a boat out onto the beach twice a summer and have a bonfire...pretty cool.
