A salon is the living room and a lot of bigger Trojans have them, our F40 , which is a rear aft cabin, has one

So, if I understand this correctly, the SALON is where you take the buyer to close the deal, so you can buy a new boat with a SALOON.

Or, maybe better to take the buyer to the SALOON and then after a few belts, he'll think the cabin of the old barge is a SALON
