Bay Window F26

Post by Rodman »

My F26 has a bay window in the front, Its a one piece 33-1/4 H 82-1/4 wide. I want to replace it. I was wondering if anyone knew how thick the Plexiglas is? I wanted to replace it with a sheet of ACRYLIC TRANSPARENT GLAZING Maybe a off smoke color, for a tent look. Any ideals on this? Reason I wanted to know how thick it is I want to have the new sheet ready to go in when I remove the old one.

Have you cosidered tinting the glass (easiest method) or filling in the hole and glassing over it (eliminate leaks forever)

I would not want to glass over the whole window. Its a beautiful look out of it in the galley when you are below.

Drill a hole in it and measure it you can seal up the hole untill you replace it.
