Beacon Marine, MarineTech & Trojanboats.net
Regardless of what has been said, Marine Tech & Beacon are BUSINESSES and as such need to turn a profit to survive.
However petty an issue may become, the website is a nice benefit to us as hobbyists and I will continue to support Marine Tech and John Leed.
Let's not lose sight of the bigger issue.
Keep in mind that the existence of Beacon Marine, Marine Tech and this website indirectly maintain the continued interest and value of our orphaned brand.
Not to mention the availability of parts that can be sourced no where else.
There must be hundreds of orphaned boats out there.
How many dead brands have the support from BOTH business and hobbyists that Trojan has ?
Regardless of who may or may not own what, let's not sink this boat by arguing over the bilge pump, the switch or the wiring.
Absent each one of those components, the boat will surely sink.
If I haven't already, next time I do something on the
http://sites.google.com/site/trojaninternational/Home
I will add a link to trojanboats.net just as I did on the BoatUS website some time ago.
Perhaps the gurus at this website will add a link from here over to there.
Finally, thanks to Bob at Beacon Marine and John Leed at Marine Tech for providing this site and thank you to all of us here for contributing our time, knowledge and interest to the benefit of all.
This is what continues to keep our fleet afloat.
