Not sure why Bill (the broker) listed it as an F36 - he knows his stuff and would know it isn't an F36. Maybe he figured labelling it a 'custom' would greatly reduce the number of people who might see it via search in yachtworld.... (how many look for 'custom', vs Trojan or F36?) so he picked closest known model ??

I have been talking to Bill (emails )

he thought or was told it was a rare Trojan

" there are very few of the “side bunk” models around. They did not make a lot of them. "

I have seen F36s with side bunks but thats not But now we know

The info I gave here re history, I got from the owners a few years back... it's certainly not a production configuration. It is different, and interesting. And 'rare' is a good word for it - don't think there is another the same anywhere.

I was yacking with the owners this weekend - they were down washing and cleaning. Boat is still for sale, and yes - 'Custom' would be the best way to describe it. It is based on a '36 TriCabin hull, so you get the TriCab's inherent ride and stability, but everything else was custom. Boat was launched about a week ago, so for anyone who was curious about it before, it's no longer under the shrink-wrap.
