a/c under the seat

LMAO every one arguing over a A/C ,All I want is to find the right prop so I can enjoy my Trojan.

It may not just be prop size.... the last size did not seem that far off yet you could not get on plane.
Is the bottom not smooth?
Were the trim tabs not down to force on plane?
Does the engine lack power?
Is the boat too heavy?

If the next size down near 10 pitch does not fix things then the problem may lie in one or more of the above areas.

I have a 14x10 1/2 on the way. I am going to try that one.

Have your A/C engineer guy cut the two lines to the coil and extend them so that the coil can be placed into a plastic tank. connect the tank to a sea valve and pump and pump water in and out of the tank. this will cool the coils. also disconect the fan that blows on to the coils

I like that idea and now that I think about it I have the macerator pump that pumps out the bottom, I believe it has a valve on it I could disconnect and put a pump there, ,
since I had had thought of this idea I did some research and found a article where a guy tried a project similar and failed and then tried to make a coil loop and bring water in but did not work
but the tank would make this easy , but will the salt water eat up the coil?

You can't really be serious ?!?!?!?!? If you are..... it's been nice (sort of) knowing you... I'm done with this. If it works - more power to you..... But more realistically, I am hoping that when the boat blows up or sinks nobody gets hurt - especially innocent bystanders whose only fault would have been being on board or too close when it happens.

What is you time worth ? if its over a buck a hour then it maybe cheaper to by a marine A/C

No but the thought does intrigue me, i think the original plan is where i will go , but i got a long ways to go before i even get to the a/c the only thing I will do now is cut the vents in
I can tend to the rest once I get in the water, there was a lot of work to do above the water line

All the info is is stored here as a archive and could help someone else down the line,
you added good info , it does not matter what the out come is ,the info will be a valuable asset to some one else who has the same idea
