fuel tank additives
any of you boys use any fuel tank addtives after the winter, if so, what brands do you use. Im thinking of using a gas dryer to spread out the condensation in the tank. I was never a fan of addtives but some guys swear by them, Im just curious, as my boat is an oldy but a goodie

Ready123, You may want to check what your Marina is pumping this season. Most of the E10 in Ontario has been used in the GTA/goldenhorse shoe area however, this year it's use is expanding.(according to my fuel supplier) They have been pumping E10 in Lake Simcoe for a couple of years now, unless induvidual Marinas went to Premium fuel. jimbo36

jimbo,
My marina uses Shell Gold which has no ethanol... Shell say they will never add it to marine fuel.
Many of the Marina's going up the east side of Georgian Bay (Britt, Killarney) get specially marina blended regular fuel without ethanol, the Shell marinas seem to sell only Gold.
I am surprised the Lake Simcoe marinas can get away with E10.... it's pretty hard on the two stroke engines. A buddy's Yamaha 4 stroke had damaged hoses and when the Esso fuel (from gas stations) was tested it had E20!!!
Why for my dinghy I only use Shell Gold from the highway

I read about that, don't you have to "mix" it into
I thought I read it wasn't just a pour into the tank process but needed to be agitated?
Easy to do during the season but not as much when it's on the hard.
