We've owned our 77 since 1989. Engine, drivetrain and suspension redone (nothing stock). Its about 450HP, and needs paint (red again) now - paint and interior are always last. Sold my red 86 Z51 for a Range Rover (bad idea) a few years back. Wish I had it - it handled better than anything I've ever driven - stiff, but fast. I also have a fully restored 1965 Sunbeam Tiger with every LAT option (Ford 260 V8, etc.) and roll cage. Its a blast, but I don't get it out much any more.

Danny - I'm with you on the communist insurance. I carry the minimum required by law on my boats, cars and bikes. Its criminal how they have treated those of us on the Hurricane coast over the years - simply canceling anyone near the water mid-year when we were paid up.

Notice when you go to a large city, the biggest building are banks and insurance companies.

I use Progressive. My marina requires 500k in liability. Due to the age of the boat progressive set up the policy based on an agreed value which is $6000. I payed $308 for last year.

Don't get me started on taxes. We own 2 companies - and its amazing how much work it is to even do the taxes, much less pay them.
