Hello All,
I got a buddy interested in a 80's 9m express twin shafts, small blocks. Particularly how do theese boats ride and handle ? how is there construction ? Are they succumbed to rot as the early berts ? is the hull cored or solid ? any info is appreciated
Thanks
Need info on early 80's international series

9 meters are as not prevalent as the 10's. As far as I know, the 9 and 10 meter boats were not cored hull but are probably cored decks. The 10 meter and up are great riding boats in all seas due to the Delta conic hull. If the 9 meter also has this hull style, then it shoudl be a smooth riding boat with limited rolling.
If he likes the 9 meter, have hime take a look at the 10 meters. There are quite a few for sale for low money. For fishing, the express vs. the mid cabin express woudlbe a good bet.

Would the actual boat measure up?
