Flood

Post by larglo »

The water is so high in Percy Priest lake, that the road leading into our marina, is un-passible. :(

May not be able to get to our boat for days? I understand the office and cafe may be in trouble.

That may be good,,,with the insurance, they can build a new one. :D

I am on Lake Ontario, and the water level is extremely low. They are going to lower the dock to compensate. I hope your Trojan is secure in the flood.

wow! the water in Toronto is so low we have 600 boats standed in the marina and clubs near us! We are awaiting the city to dredge so we can get out, but rumour has it the fisheries want to wait for the fish to do their thing, we may be stuck for a while... happily I am not in the water yet so I can do more work to mine...

I'm in a floating dock. They are supposed to have someone there to raise and lower the dock as needed. I just hope they are doing it, and don't run out of line like they did the office/cafe building.

I have tried calling each day, but always get a busy signal. The road is blocked with water, so have had no information about what is going on there or how our boat is. And it's the not knowing, that's the problem. Will try again today.
