Hi everyone. Could someone please tell me where the valve is that selects between dockside water and fresh water holding tank water on a 1981 F-36?
Thanks,
Larry

I don't think there is a valve. Perhaps an F-36 owner can confirm. Every system that I've seen simply works off dockside when you attatch the hose (power down water pump). When you disconnect from dockside, power up the pump and draw from the tank. Most dockside water fittings have a built-in check valve to prevent water exiting when you turn on your pump. The pumps have check valves so that your tank doesn't fill up while connected to dockside water supply.

unless he or another owner made some modification. the original is the same as a rv water connection with the check valve, if you have to replace for any reason go to a rv parts place.

always be sure to turn dockside water off when you leave the boat for any period of time
