Oil / Vessells of OP. Program

Post by rap55 »

Hey all,

Anyone thinking about putting thier boat to work in the clean-up should be ready for a 8 to 10 page contract with BP. Also your vessell will need to have a (commercial) coastwise endorsement (name on bow) prior to March 31st. 2010. They also state that all vessells will need to be registered in the state they will be working in. They are looking to hire local commercial vessells who have been put out of work first.
I would like to put my boat to work in the program but the March 31st. thing pretty much stops that. Everyone knows there`s "More than one way to get to town" so if you have any additional info. please pass it on.

Thanks, Rick / F-36 / Miss Kitty
