Motor ??

Hi all, in the past I have discussed a motor problem with very low oil pressure on my starboard engine. Engines are merc 350's 330hp ea. One is bad, with very low oil pressure at low rpm. I have been pretending to be a trawler using both engines to maneuver and the good motor to cruise at around 8 knots, 2100 rpm. This has been working pretty good and saving me some gas but a little speed now and then would be nice....QUESTION....I have found a couple 2005 5 liter mercs with low hrs and in supposed good condition. I'm thinking my 30 foot Sea Raider came originally with 302s and around 215 hp ea so this might be a good replacement for my 350's??? I'm not looking for the 30 plus top end of my current 350's so the decrease in hp shouldn't be a problem........I appreciate any thoughts on the subject..............Thanks....John

i take it these come with the ECM's to run them and all the sensors ? If they don't then nope not worth it, That stuff could cost you as much as two 350's

Motors are "complete"....I would have a mechanic check them before purchase.....thanks for the input............John
