I'd be curious as to what type of performance he gets with the diesel. Without seeing any photos or other equipment, hard to say if it's worth that. On the other hand, when I priced out a gas to diesel conversion in 2002, 240hp Yanmar, two separate quotes were in the neighborhood of 25K. (Both were within 1K of each other)
