leaking hatch covers fixed

Post by davescarrs »

87 10 meter trojan Int express model- had a couple drips coming in from the hatch cover. nothing significant, but annoying. didn't want to rip old stuff out and put some home depot stuff in there and then find out it is worse. So I called Bob at Beacon Marine, who also provides this site. He is very very knowledgeable and set me up with some stuff. Wasn't as cheap as the stuff you buy for the windows and doors in your house, but it seems to have worked.

If your leaking perhaps give this stuff a try. Call Bob he'll set u up.

well he owes you a thank you becuase both of mine leak and I haven't had a chance to get off my butt and find the right seal to replace them with. The previous owner put some garbage seal in that isn't even close... so I need to change it out. I'll give Bob a call this week and get some from him.... thanks for the motivation....
A ship in a harbor is safe.... But that's not what ships were built for
