These are a couple of pics I took the weekend before last. Had a great Labor day weekend as well, but no pics. As we headed up river, we got to enjoy the sunset on the water. Cell phone pics do no justice but thought I'd share. You can use your imagination!

We were leaving Coles Point Tavern on the Potomac about 20 miles south just before sunset.

Nice pics! Tell me, how do you post pics in the body of your message? This old brain doesn't retain things as well as it used to. Probably all the booze taking up room in there. Thanks

A Photobucket account. If using my cell (Blackberry)
I'll email my pics from my phone to my email address, store them on my computer. Then I go to PhotoBucket.com and upload pictures from computer, to that... Then I simply copy the URL address for posting in forums, and paste them back here in the body of my text...make sense?

Great pix!

Thought you speed demons might enjoy a couple of short videos:

Top Thrill Dragster roller coaster @ Cedar Point. The tallest/fastest coaster in the US. 0-120mph in 4 seconds, then turn and climb 420 feet straight up, go over the top (look at Canada) and then back to 120mph and then stop in the station. All in 17 seconds - and accompanied by very powerful fuel burning funny car audio and drag strip "Christmas tree" start! WOW!

Here's my 26 Chaparral running on the trailer - 454/370+HP ... sounds nice ...

Yes, the video is dull, but the sound is nice. Thinking if running a pair of 4" exhaust out under the swim platform, but afraid I'll get tired of hearing it all the time ...

Will,

Is that number 9 or number 7? Figure it's got to be near the mouth of the Yeocomico...

Corsa makes an after market sytem called Captain's Call - a switch on the dash triggers a solenoid to flip a diverter so you can go straight pipe or through the prop as desired. It is basically an after-market Silent Choice equivalent.

I added it to my old '89 Four Winns Liberator 261, but for a different reason (the wife got fed up with the sound of the straight pipes off the twin 350 Magnums, and the looks we got as we pulled in to other marinas, so insisted I change to underwater exhaust... the Corsa system allowed me to make both of us happy).

I've looked at the Corsa, as well as the Silent Choice ... no decision (or need to add work) yet ...

Say, does anyone know how much pressure the stock Mercruiser mechanical fuel pump puts out? Its overwhelming the carb float on my Qjet (and flooding after running at high RPM) ... may need a fuel pressure regulator.
