Hello, We purchased a 1988 10.8m sportfish this year. Everything has been great so far ( knocking on wood as I type that ). I am trying to find a water leak that has me stumped. In the galley, where the floor begins to conform to the outside, there is a crease in the floor. This crease tends to get wet, but from where, we do not know. I have checked all the obvious things. Sink, plumbing near by, hot water heater, ice maker, I can not find anything. We thought it had something to do with the AC, since it didn't happen in the spring, only started in the summer, with the AC running pretty much no stop, but this weekend, no AC, and the water came back. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a picture of the area in question, but can not figure out how to upload.
Thanks in advnce.
Kevin

try sprinkling some baby powder around the area to establish some "tracks" to the source.

Send the photo to me and I will post it for you. I know a photo will help me visualize what is happening.

check your side window(s) on my boat there is a metal upright separating the two sliding units, the scews holding the metal in place come loose/rot etc. When it rains water comes through the screw holes but does not manifest in the cabin but runs inside the wall, when it gets to the floor inside the wall it will get under your flooring. Does this sound like what you have? I will take a pic of mine as the teak is stripped off to repair the hidden damage, it was left off till now to make sure my fix worked.
