Hello again.
I found some earlier posts about transom doors on late 80's 11 and 10 meters... but haven't seen any pics on this actually done on either of these boats. If someone has added a transom door, I would really like to take a look at the work and your opinion of it.
Also thinking about a adding a nice swim platform (this is all before I even own the boat... but just a bit excited should I purchase it) but I am concerned about the nice modern ones I see putting holes through the hull below the water line. Anyone add a swim platform with success?
Thanks,
--Rick

This boat features a factroy swim platform and ladder similar to the 10 meter.
The very early ones were teak, much more fiberglass was used in later years.
The 10 meter has brackets on the transom and wooden backing plates on the inside of the transom.

If the boat is cored where you put holes thru it , make sure you seal the coring with something like west system before installing the bolts brackets . then when installing the bolts use lots of 5200 or 4200 .
