Welcome to the forum John. You will find many Trojan experts here (I'm not one of them) looks like an F30, maybe 1973-74? Sleeps 2 good, 6 if you like tight quarters. Vberth forward, dinnet that converts to a double and a sofa that makes bunk beds......like I said very cramped for more than 2 overnight. Does fine with 6 for a cruise, any more and it gets crowded......Should have twin 318's or maybe merc 302's with v drives......if it's been re-powered then who knows....one head, 2 sinks, one in the head and one in the galley. I have a 30foot Sea Raider that is almost the same and love it.
Good luck..................John

The "300" in "300-4130" indicates an "F 30 SPORT CRUISER MODEL 300, 301".

Some call certain variations (which ones?) of the F30 an "F30 Clean Machine".

For future ref., Bob and Don (of Beacon Marine - who run this site) have a list at:
http://www.trojanboats.net/wforum/viewtopic.php?t=2957

Not sure what the 4130 means ... someone here will - and they will get nominated for 2010 Trojan Boater of the Year for their help!

I think you will find that most marine mechanics will not want to rebuilt, they will at minimum want to do a short block. In your case since they have sat for 10 years they might want to do a long block or complete engine. Be prepared for a shock.....short block will run $4-7 K, other options are even more.

If you are capable of doing this yourself then the above numbers will be reduced significantly. Jasper short block (sm blk) will run around $2400.....

Another possible option is to find two complete engines from someone elses re-power, a little risky but significant cost saving.........make sure to get them checked out.

Good luck with the survey!

I don't know how far you want to take it but I've got a guy in lauderdale that re did my boat. Let me know if you want his number. I think he could paint that boat top to bottom for 8K to 10K

If raw water cooled you may want to look for other engines
