How does one find out about these events? I would love to go to one next year. Do you have to reserve early?
Thanks.... Ron

I will Post info about it when I get it . for the last few years Kent and Silva put it together . It is a different group then the folks on the site here even thought some here are involved . It's mostly owners from mid to upper bay. I went in 2009 ( St Mikes) and almost set a record of 160 miles coming from the lower bay . But was outdone by Wes who came 400+ miles from Ct. We had 20 something boats. I believe 3 or 4 from this site Me , Wes , Butch by boat and Jamie ,Arron , His Dad ,Willie by land ( I know I am forgetting someone ) .Of course your boat was there

In 2010 it was in the sassafras river I believe . Poor turn out 6 ?? boats I heard , may be to far north . I heard they may do the Solomons next year . I hope so great place and a real easy run for you .

We also had a small event at Port Kinsale this year Put together by Jamie . Myself and Tony A. went for 4days ( by boat)3 others came by boat for Sunday brunch . we had 2 F36s 2 F32s and one C36(don't ask)

PM me you Email address and I will Send it to Kent so you can get up dates (few and far between). I many photos of the 2009 event on my face book page.

Thanks PR, sounds like a blast. The solomons thing sounds great! I've always wanted to go there. Maybe we can make '11 a banner year.

And that would be a C 3607 aft-cabin tri-fly with a bath tub . But the hand rails are from a f-32 and everyone needs a token Carve.

Nothing like a .001% Trojan boat. well they did copy the Bath tub from Trojan so make it .002% Trojan . But it did show up for the Trojan get together in heavy seas and for all 4 days from a long ways away :D( This is in no way a dig to nearby boats that only made it for brunch , honest 8) )

Ron Port Kinsale is a great place to go about 12 miles up the potomac river so I don't belive its not to far for you . Are you at Somers cove ?

Yep Somers Cove. We cruised up the Potomac once, stayed at a marina at the 301 bridge to be close to Budds Creek raceway. Our son worked for the Speed Channel and they were doing that Pinks type show. We love the Potomac.

Sounds like a plan Tony , Not sure how many boats you can get to go to Urbana , as most boats are mid bay and more then 2 hours away and from what I have seen at these folk don't seem to go that far . Urbana is a great place to go , maybe I am wrong and I hope I am . :?

PROVE ME WRONG !!!!! How far would you cruse for a get together ? 20? 30? 40? 85? 160? 400+ ? miles . I know Tony would do 85 and many 160 or more How about the rest of You ?? I Put 400 plus miles down because my good Friend Wes came from Ct to Va for a rendezvous in 2009 and he will do it again as soon as he pays off his fuel bill

If they don't do the Rendevous in the Solomans that would be good too Its a litle farthee for us but maybe the same for you . If you go to the ofice at Somers Cove they can give you a distance cart from there to other points in the bay (its in the welcome pack )

Well it looks like Kinsail and the solomons are almost equal distances from me. I've also been wanting to go to Solomons as well.

I've been here a Somers cove for 5 years and they never offered any maps. Guess I'll have to go in there and insist lol
Has anyone here ever been to OnanCock VA? I love that cruise.
