Any of you fellow F30 owners know if there is a hatch on the cabin floor which would allow me access to the hull, my cabin floor has carpeting. I have to fix a through hull fixture that used to be a depth sensor. Previous owner plugged the hole with a dowel then a thin fiberglass layer, I don't trust it, I think it would be best to repair it with another through hull fitting, seeing as I need a depth sensor anyway as the boat doesn't have one.
Next, I purchased a trailer that needs to be modified to a bunk model, The rear bunks will be easy enough to add as the frame width matches the width of my boats chines, I'm thinking all I need for the forward supports are a couple keel rollers. I'm just wondering if a couple is enough or if I need more. This is NOT a highway trailer, just a wintering trailer as I don't want to be married to a marina and their sling and cradle method.

Landlocked! Yes, but that won't deter me from trying to find my way out to sea.

Well that is good news, I had visions of having to r&r the interior to fix the hole. Thanks guys, I don't like the green carpet that is in there anyways, I'd like to change to a wood floor in the cabin, this may be the time to do it. What kinda flooring do you all have in your cabin?

i was going to go with hard maple flooring that i took out of an old farm house. i even have the boards all stripped, sanded and ready to go in but i scrapped the idea and went with carpet. i was worried about it coming loose with all the flexing and jarring.
life is tough! it's even tougher if your stupid.
