TRI CABIN AFT HEAD BLOWER ACCESS PANEL

Post by aaronbocknek »

if you have a tri cabin, circa 1980-1985, i've found a small panel in the galley area where you can access the aft head blower motor. if you are facing the cabin windows, looking out, open up the cabinet and inside you will find a small panel. unscrew the 4 screws and pop the panel off. that is where the exhaust blower for the aft head is located. if you look at k9th's galley counter rehab (see his thread on this subject), you will see what i am talking about.

just thought i would pass this along. now, how can i locate the forward head and bilge blower units. if anyone has experience with this, i'd love to know.

AAron, Thanks for the reply, I recently found it last weekend and I spent time looking for that sucker. As it turns out, that motor is froze up, so I have to take it apart and see why its frozen up. Its trying to turn, maybe its just corroded. Also its going to be a bear trying to get it off and out of there....

Some times the easier (and cheaper ) Fix is to leave it a lone and put a in line blower in it will work fine with the old blower in place
