what would be the best way to striip a wood hull of her paint heat gun soad blasting or belt sander

The only way to strip a wooden boat (without destroying it) is with a heat gun. Get an industrial heat gun and a sharp one inch wood chisel and just take your time. After you get most of the paint off, I would recommend a Makita dual action sander with 40g H & L 3M paper to clean it. Once the hull is clean, I would highly recommend coating it with Smith & Co. CPES epoxy, then (after 24 hours), a couple coats of epoxy primer (like Interlux), then (after sanding with 100 g) a one part top coat. I'm sorry to break the bad news to you, but there is no easy way out. Remember to wear a for real respirator when using the heat gun or sanding.....
