Welcome to the forum,
I'm across the river from Wyandotte in Lasalle Ontario. Spend alot of time on the hook in Crystal Bay. Also get in the occasional trip to Portofino's in Trenton.
I'm sure you'll find this site a very good source of information for any questions that you may have about your Trojan.

Welcome!

A good sense of humor makes it more interesting for all of us here in the bleachers.
A lack of same makes us all snicker to each other.
Either way we will all have fun.

the back is done with rhino truck bed liner so, its non-skid. the 50 coat polyurethane sealer i put on the hatch covers and companion-way doesn't have any non-skid in it but, with soft soled shoes there shouldn't be any issues as its kind of tacky (wet or dry). i still have to do the sides of the cockpit yet. the guy who owned it before wrapped black vinyl around 1/4 inch plywood (half assed) and the wood is now rotted out ( no surprise). i have some 4x8 sheets of 1/2 inch white plastic board that I'm going to put in as soon as i finish my trailer and can get back to my garage.
after looking at 75's pictures of his boat and decking i wish mine was taken care of. man, is that beautiful!!
then again, i will be using mine for salmon charters/fishing and teak usually doesn't hold up very well to being scrubbed down 2 or 3 times a day. i kind of needed low maintenance (high speed, low drag) easy to clean up, decking.

Bet Tony's fuel burn (mpg) are about the same the big Iron won't work as hard as the small ones . and remember it take X amount of fuel to make x amount of power , and it takes x amount of power to move the boat a x speed . the only reason a big block will Burn more at a given speed would be the added weight and that is so minor you won't notice . Now if your talking about fuel burn at WOT all bets are off . But at cruse they should be close and some time the big iron wins if the small block boat is under powered.
With that said I will wave at both of you when I pass the fuel dock .
and Tony's boat will burn a lot Cuze it keeps going places , no dock Queen there
