trim tabs
I have a 30ft trojan with a 10ft bridge it does not have any trim tabs on it what size would give me the best performance i will be running in fresh water i have twin 351 in it I am going to try to change it over to 440s not sure off trim tabs brand performance aswel
I have both
I have both: Bennetts on my smaller boats and Boat Levers on my Trojan F32. I would never be without Trims Tabs on a planing hull over 18' !
They both work ok, but its confusing, because each set's controls work opposite of the the other ...
Bennet sizing: http://www.bennetttrimtabs.com/size1.htm
12" long by 24" wide (Bennet recommends 30" wide per side) should work fine ... you could go a bit smaller, but no real $ savings ... and the larger tabs will help speed, economy and handling!
