Hello All Im Back................

Post by guglielmo6160 »

Hope everyone is well,
lots of changes for me, I recently moved to florida and am back in the Trojan game,,,lol
I recently purchased a 77 f 25 which is in need of a little TLC from someone who abandoned it, but prior to that installed what looks like new power and lots of new items.
does anyone know who this could have been, I purchased the boat from the owner of the dock he was renting here in florida,

anyway, Im sure Im going to have aloto of questions as there is alot to be done, except this time Im at my own house on the water and can be here alot more than a marina up North
again, good to see you all again, and talk to you all soon I hope

oh yeah, I have a title, and no,not gonna name it outta control II lol, but not a bad idea,
spent a good part of the day cleanning it up, but not sure, may turn it over for a quick profit and get a larger trojan,, not entirely sure yet, I cant believe the ammount of new items the previous owner bought,
looks like the entire driveline is new , including the rudder , gas tank, etc,
def a home run

Welcome,
looks like you won out over a guy who didn't have his priorities straight.

I've been watching that boat for at least 2 months. I didn't pay too much attention to it because it didn't add up to me. 15K spent on the boat then let the rent lapse. My loss your gain!

I thnk that the seller , (landlord) saying 15 grand is a bit of a stretch, but for sure, I would say at least 7-8 grand, this type of engine from what I see goes around 5 grand, with all the bells and whistles, then there is all tthe accessory stuff, the brass, rudder, shaft, through hulls, brand new a/c unit, with all the bells and whistles, plumbing, etc etc, as you guys know it all adds up,
what I have to finish is bolting up the velvet drive, which is also NEW and hooking up the stuffing box brass fittings which are also New,,lol
I mean this guy went hog wild,
I also see all new mounting wood for the rudder, tanks, hardware and also has a new battery charger, and two (and I find this funny, ) brand new Trojan batteries, along with the trojan Hull emblems which look to be new repros,
I mean its not a show boat, but mechanically its looking good and for what I paid I would have to be nuts not have bought it
I was going to turn a quick profit, but for some reason no one has answered my ad,, so I guess Ill stick with it,, and finish it up,
actually Im installing a pair of nice mooring whips on my dock as we speak,
its moviing slow as I get home when its dark so most of the work gets done on the weekends
anyway keep you posted
