I should just replace all the gauges ;-) while I'm at it. They're all getting pretty old and crappy, BUT ... I need temp gauges to do a week on the boat next week, so I'll probably just get by for now ...

Q: When you all replaced gauges/senders, did you replace the wring as well?

Finally got the new Mercruiser Fuel Pump in the 26 today. Per Paul's suggestion, I lubed the mechanical pump lobes (damn thing was full of fuel)

Runs like a top (other than old gas) 30 minutes @ 1,500RPM on the hose!

Going out tomorrow!

Fedex shipping delay/damage.

No - just haven;t been able to get to it. Fishing was great last fall, then Dec was very cold. We spent the Christmas holidays traveling, and then its een cold until yesterday here.

All vessels running good now - taking the skiff fishing today.

Would you tell us the truth about it if you did? Or would you just blame UPS?

You know it  have to blame it on those union guys. I use paxton a lot to. But all kidding aside I get most of my stuff right from my marina and the cost isn't that much more. And then I've got someone to take it right back to if there anything wrong with the part or if it fails later. Like that POS carb this yr. Saved me a few bucks.

Yes - fuel pump was bad- would pump up over the 4-5psi max the Qjet can take.

Waiting on a new coil now - I hate gas engines in boats!
