Head Problem

Post by jddens »

I am having a head problem on my F30. I have a Groco Model K head and an Lectrasan treatment system.....the head seems to recirculate some of what is flushed......gross.....seems that what should be going down mixes with the flush water and recirculates. This gradually gets better and the flush water eventually is clean. I replaced the Joker valve but no improvement. It appears than it is getting pull back from the Lectrasan unit. My next step is to get a rebuild kit for the head, pull it, take it home and rebuild it on the bench....

The Lectrasan seems to be working fine.............

Thought I'd seek some input from the all knowing resources on this site.

Thanks in advance.........John

John, if you post your question over at BoaterEd, Vic Williams or another will answer and give you some of the best advise to your solution.

Vic is a marine sanitary expert and can steer you in the right direction.
