1986 F26?
Hey there, I'm relatively new to this forum, and have been reading feverishly and absorbing like a sponge all the great info here. My question is this, on every F26 post the boats are always mid to late '70's, and powered with Chrysler 318's or Ford 351's, mine is a 1986, powered with a 305, anyone heard of this, or am I boating in a parallel Universe?
Welcome to the forum Muskokan!!!!

Thats the one, right down to the colour of the seats. So, I am clearly boating in a parallel Universe, the last 2 digits of the HIN are 86, which I thought denoted year of manufacture, I actually thought it was an 87, cause I'm pretty sure thats what the seller said in the ad, of course I was not smart enought to print it. Makes no difference, I love the boat, the 10' beam is amazing. My prev boat was a 30' Pacemaker Sportfisher, only thing I miss is the enclosed V-berth, ok and theflybridge of coarse!. the single screw took a little getting used t, but by the end of the season, I could actually back it into a slip. As I do most of my boating by myself, I was a little nervous at first, as were my neighbours!

Yeah, My buddy was told by a nieghbour of the previous owner(after I bought her) that the rudder was bent, never really noticed while underway, till fall haulout, it has been fixed and is waiting to go back on in Spring. Funny story, the prev owner told me that the first owner, approx 20 yrs died of a heart attack, second owner, approx 7 years, died of heart attack, the guy I bought it from had a major heart attack and triple by-pass surgery 2 weeks after buying her, my buddy phoned me every day for a month after I bought her, asking if I was still alive!

Captainmaniac, where do you keep your boat, I grew up in Hamilton, kept my 30' Pacemaker at Harbourwest, liked the boating on Lake Ontario, pretty nice up here in Muskoka though, keep this one one Sparrow Lake on the Severn, no bridge to wait forjust Locks, well, ok and the odd swing bridge, but on demand, not on the half hours!

Kopasetic, I renamed her from Liverpool Lady, Former owners were Murray and Theresa, Murry was one of the spear-headers of the pig roast, Theresa is my cousin, they moved to the Pace from an Alberg 28, I think, owned the Pace for a year or two, then I think the Harbs were too hard on Murray's liver, he really liked it there!, and I bought her from them.
