Hey ya'll!
Ron gave this newcomer his second piece of good info since I signed on to th' Forum!
Ron, I will take heed of your wisdom:
We just bought a 1986 Trojan 10 Meter, Sedan (341) with the 8.2L Detroit deisels. She has been tied to a dock for four years and is in need of some TLC. We will get her up to snuff before long and hope to be cruising the Cumberland River, (where we live on the banks of Old Hickory Lake at mm 233, LBD,) around the late March time frame. We have lots to learn about the boat as we have never owned a deisel powered vessel, or for that matter, an inboard! Fly bridge and dual station is new as well! Our largest boat in our 40 plus years of boating has been a 22' C-Dory. We put 2400 hours on the C-Dory since '06 so we have had a blast on the little boat!!! B and I are looking foward to participating on the forum and will soon develop a gob of questions as we work a little on the boat daily...curtains being made as I type! We feel we have found a good bunch of folks on this forum, much like our C-Brat.com site we still enjoy. We read a whole lot more than we type, but find the topics interesting and we always go away further enlightened!!! We recently took a little boat ride from Decatur, Al. to Daytona, Fl. via a 37 day REALLY FUN stay in Key West. If you want, check our blog at "gypsyontheloop.com". Great to be here, we've already recieved several "Welcomes" (took about 4 minutes after registering), and hope we can help someone as well.
See ya' on th' water

A big welcome aboard, As a collective group this is the most valuable place to get info and parts for Trojan boats. You have to decide which is wisdom and which is an opinion, but it's all fun. We'll be looking forward to your input.

Hi Gypsy,

Welcome aboard. Due to my zip code I have a Mount Juliet address, but actually live between Mount Juliet and Smyrna. I dock at Fate Sanders marina which is only 2 miles from our home. if your ever in the area, drop by slip A-50 which is on the very end of the dock. Soon as warm weather hits, hope to be there most weekends and a lot in between too.
