Tips on cleaning non skid

In the spring we use Mean Green on the entire top side, and on the anti skid we use it with a stiff bristle brush. This removes all of the dirt, spider & bird poop, shoe marks and old wax. It does however leave the gelcoat with a chalky finish so we shine it up with Meguiars polish and then carnuba wax. This usually lasts the whole summer and the boat cleans up well every week with just boat soap and water. I do have to use Meguiars 50 to clean up the occasional bird stain thru the summer.

Krud Kutter from WalMart on the paint isle.

Professional strength will do the job.

They also produce a mildew and mold product that is awesome.

Everyone I have introduced to these products have really enjoyed the results and ease of use.

I've been using Starbrite Non-Skid Deck Cleaner for several years. It works great and doesn't remove wax on the the smooth areas. For tough bird stains I use SoftScrub.
Also, try a Dollar Store for Awesome cleaner. Good for stains - cheap and dissolves spider poop. Don't use it on windows though.

Don't want to be the fly in the ointment, but how do you stop all these chemicals from being washed overboard?
I don't know about marinas everywhere, but the one I will be at is fairly strict on containing contaminents from the waterway.

Don't think our marinas are too concerned about soap going into the water. At least until the EPA requires diapers on the ducks, herons, and gulls

I wasn't referring to the mild soap and water
More the tub and tile scrubber, oven cleaner, bleach, the harsher chemicals..etc..
