New Girl

Post by JayBird »

Hello all! I'm the other half of the FNG Heefus.... figured I'd post some pics of our new boat since he's been slacking:)

Nothing like buying your first big (or big for us) boat in the winter & having to wait for spring! In the meantime, I've enjoyed reading & looking at pictures on here. Great site....

Allow me to clarify:

Heefus=me=FNG post.

JayBird=Jamie=my wife.

I laughed when I saw her SN, and essplained to her that you usually call a naked boy a Jay Bird. Her Daddy used to call her that, which carries interesting implications :lol:

Oh, and that's our new 76 F28, on a lift, above the blue stuff, which we refer to as "water". All cleared up now? :D

Welcome to the forum. Is that your place in the pick with your boat in the air or a marina? I'm thinking of converting my boat house to an automated lift system and never saw one like that before. Any info on those units? The manual chainfalls are starting to P%@$# me off.

Thanks for the clarity Heefus:)

Big D... I wish that was our boat lift & property, but it belongs to the folks we bought the boat from. They kindly offered to let us keep the boat on the lift until the weather allows for the boat to be de-winterized. Their home is on the market as well.... they have their sights on a nice catamaran & plan to sail off into the sunset. Nice.
