What's wrong with posting links from here to our boats?
Or including them in the messages as we do now?
Makes more sense than reading here and then going there to look at pictures... sorry I'm not a Facebook fan

I suspect something was posted then removed after a couple of replies.

He created a Trojan Yacht facebook page. Intentions were good, hope his feelings weren't hurt.
IMO Facebook allows too much personal info to pass to people you might not want knowing about your personal life.

I have facebook..but just for immediate family, not friends or co-workers

You can set privacy setting on facebook so you can limit who sees what .

Sounds like it may have been a good idea , and if you did not like it you don't go there simple .

Anyone have the link ?

Don't do Facebook but if someone else wants to that's their business and no one has to go to the page if they don't want to..

To clear up this string...

I did post an add for a facebook page for Trojan Yachts.

I was not trying to fragment your community...I wanted to expand the community.

As some of you have stated...if you do not want to participate then simply do not.

I will not attempt to promote it on this forum anymore...

Still a happy member of the Trojanboats.net,

As for myself, I've been wanting to have a seperate site we can all go to that is our business and only the business of the members.
I have one thing in mind, if you know what I mean?

If Facebook can do that and keep it private, I'm all for it!

My problem was, I didn't know what to do with it, once I got there?

Wasn't talking about Bob, Don, the moderator, or offending anyone.
