I thought the stripes on the bridge were decals but they appear to be painted on. It looks like I am having a lot of clear coat paint flake off the top of the stripes???? Were these stripes painted on and clear coated later???

I have a International express and they were not paint. I know of another express that also were not painted on. Maybe somebody clear coated over the stickers? I don't think you should have any clear coat on that bost unless it's been repainted. I could be wrong, I'm sure someone with more knowledge of this will chime in before long.

on my mid cabin, the stripes over the radar arch are/were vinyl stripes. I removed the old ones and replaced them last year.

The hull stripes are definitely paint/clear coated from the factory. I'm taking those off before I launch this year.

IMHO tje hull stripes add CLASS and I kept mine after first thinking seriously about removal.

AS Bob siad, my radar arch stripes were certainly vinyl. It loosk like the rest of mine may be vinyl as well, but they may have a coating over them. I plan on removing the upper hull strip this year but leaving the big side triangle. It helps peopel pick me out when I'm coming in and I've grown to like them.

Use 3M Stripe eraser and a corded drill for easy removal.
