DOW 795

Post by BobCT »

Have any of you guys used this before? The place who made my portlights recommended it as a structural bedding compound so I can eliminate the screws on the portlights. It get great reviews and is designed for window installation on boats.

I also asked about filling the gap bewteen the portlight and the deck and he suggested using the same stuff. I called DOW and they said it would fine for this purpose as well.

I have visions of it turning yellow or holding all the dirt (or both) and figured I would check with you guys.

I haven't used this product but it sounds good. I'm needing to seal the metal trim around my cabin windows and this sounds good, hopefully someone that has experience with it will chime in................John

No experience with the product but at first glance, I thought this thread was about the Dow, falling to 795...

From the reviews, sound like a good product! Hopefully you'll give us a review after using it.

Dont do that. I was looking for an elevator to get to a higher floor so I could successfully pull off a Triple Lindy to the parking lot.

I have used plenty of it on commercial buildings as a sealant but never to adhere anything,, as a sealant it is top of the line,, what i usually do in this case is call their tech support and ask them
